Privacy policy
This server is run privately by the operator for personal use. This policy covers what it does with information when you sign in and use it.
Information collected
- Google account details. Sign-in uses Google OAuth with only the
openidandemailscopes. The server receives your Google account ID and email address to check that you are on the allowlist. Your name and profile picture may be returned by Google but are not used. - Tokens. The OAuth access and refresh tokens issued by Google, and the tokens this server issues to Claude, are stored encrypted on the server so you stay signed in.
- Requests. The tool requests Claude sends (for example, a film title to look up) are passed to the operator's own Sonarr, Radarr and Prowlarr services on the same machine. They are not stored by arr-mcp beyond normal application logs.
- Logs. Operational logs may record request times, errors, and the email address of refused sign-ins. They stay on the server and are not shared.
How it is used
Only to authenticate you and carry out the requests you make through Claude. There is no advertising, analytics, tracking or profiling.
Sharing
Information is not sold or shared. It passes only through the services needed to work: Google (sign-in), Anthropic's Claude (which sends requests and receives results, under Anthropic's own privacy policy), Tailscale (which carries the encrypted connection to the server), and the operator's media services. Prowlarr searches may query the operator's configured indexers with the titles you look up.
Google user data
Use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google data is used only to sign you in.
Retention and deletion
Tokens are kept until they expire or you disconnect. You can revoke access at any time by removing the connector in Claude and removing the app at myaccount.google.com/permissions. The operator can delete stored tokens on request.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above will be updated.
